All Fired Up! for International Women's Day

On 8 March, come to Hong Lim Park to kick off with women's football, smash a patriarchy pinata, chat with activists at civil society booths, and have a great time with live music, spoken word, a dance party and jugglers! Invite your friends!

Who cares for the caregivers?

AWARE submitted our recommendations for Budget 2015, calling for an infrastructure that provides adequate care of the elderly, children and disabled people. Read about issues people raised at our public pre-budget forum here.

Support group for women going through divorce

Our second support group - in English and Mandarin - for women who are recently divorced or are going through divorce proceedings starts soon (tentatively scheduled for the end of March). If you would like to join, click here for details.

Write for We Can!

We Can! needs regular writers for the campaign blog. Share a personal experience or perspective, art that tackles violence or more. Email Nabilah at [email protected] if you're interested.

Gender equality in the public eye

Read our letter in TODAY on addressing the needs of all in caregiving. Caregiving is too important to leave to private market mechanisms that cater for those who can afford it, while those who cannot are relegated to volunteers on an ad hoc basis.

Kick off Intl Women's Day with some football fun

Join us for a game of football as we celebrate International Women's Day on the 8 March at Hong Lim Park. Click here for more information and to sign up!

Community art project: When Bellies Speak

Join artist Dana Lam on 11 Feb at AWARE to make a plaster cast of your belly, and reconnect with a part of the body that often faces abuse. 300+ casts will be used for an art installation at All Fired Up! Click here for more information.

Upcoming Change Maker workshops
